Welcome to

King’s Oak School

Bring us your past and leave with your future.

Admissions

We understand that you and  your family may have found mainstream primary & secondary a little difficult to manage. At King's Oak, we work together to help your child improve their conduct, access an individually focussed curriculum based upon your child's needs and if possible, create a supported pathway back to mainstream education.

We can only do this by working in partnership together.

We will offer you and your child all the support you need, including family workshops, therapies and monthly parent meetings so that we can empower your child to be the best that they can be.

We are sometimes able to accept pupil's from outside of the Royal Borough of Greenwich. This is done in conjunction with your child's SEN team communicating directly with the SEN team at Greenwich. We are not able to accept 'casual admissions' due to the nature of our work. King's Oak works with both Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils (Years 7-11). Key Stage 3 covers Years 7 & 8 and Key Stage 4 covers Years 9 to 11.

King's Oak School is a specialist secondary school and as such, our admissions are dealt with by the Special Needs Education Department (SEND) within the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

Before a pupil can be accepted at King's Oak, they must have a full EHCP (Educational Health Care Plan) in place.
