Religious Studies
Religious education is unique in that it contributes dynamically to children and young people's education at Kings Oak by provoking challenging questions about meaning and purpose in life, beliefs about God, ultimate reality, issues of right and wrong and what it means to be human.
Students at Kings Oak experience all six major world religions, as well as, discovering alternative religions and faiths.
The structure of the Religious education curriculum at Kings Oak allows our students to develop beliefs and values, develop an understanding of the virtues of respect and empathy, which we value in our diverse school and society. It fosters civilised debate and reasoned argument, and helps pupils to understand the place of religion and belief in the modern world.
