INTRODUCTION 

Kings Oak School provides education for year 7 to year 11 pupils. All of our students hold an Education and Health Care Plan {EHCP} (formerly called 'statements'). The EHCP document forms the basis of the provision that we provide for each individual student; informing planning and developing strategies to assist with communication and interaction, cognitive development and social and emotional needs. The EHCP is a legal document and is reviewed at least each year in the Annual Review process involving the pupil, family member/s, the school and when appropriate, a Royal Borough of Greenwich SEND officer.
