Rainbows for the NHS

Dear all,

We've received this 'call to arms' letter from the Leader of the Council - Danny Thorpe ... I know you can help! Ms Rose West is already on the case:

Dear all,

As you know, a lot of work is being done by many, many people who are doing their best to tackle Covid19. Teachers, shop workers, nurses – it is an unbelievable effort and I want to thank you for what you are all doing.

You will no doubt have seen that the Government have set up a completely new hospital at the Excel Centre, NHS Nightingale.

The chief Executive of Oxleas NHS trust who are based in Greenwich, Matthew Trainer, has been seconded to run the hospital, which is a huge and daunting task. The new hospital can support up to 4000 people.

For many of you who may have been to the centre, you will know it is a pretty blank space and in order to help support Matthew and the teams on NHS workers - many of whom are having to move away from their family for weeks and weeks – we want to create a wall of Rainbows and message for Matthew and the team.

SO – I’m hoping as many of you as possible can help us to create hundreds and hundreds of Rainbow pictures and messages to send over.

What do you think?

If you can create a rainbow - anyway you like ... take a photo, scan, upload to either Google Classroom or to my email address: exechead@imperium.greenwich.sch.uk then I can print them out, laminate them (so they are sterile) and then drop them off to NHS Nightingale! Don't forget to put King's Oak on them!

Can you get this done by Friday?!?!?
